Why Scout Was Created
Retired Traveler was created by Cory Henderson, a retired Houston firefighter, flight attendant, husband, father, traveler, and storyteller. Cory’s journey from the firehouse to the skies helped shape a brand built around second chapters, service, family, travel, faith, growth, and legacy.
Scout gives that story a playful voice. He helps make Retired Traveler inviting for retirees, families, kids, grandkids, travelers, and anyone who believes their next chapter can still be full of movement and meaning.
